AUTODISCOUNT. agrees fully with the principles underlying the law relating to privacy, being convinced that everyone has the right to complete confidentiality in his or her own private sphere. We also maintain that our Clients’ data should be kept absolutely secret and we have always followed precise and stringent rules about its handling. We are happy, therefore, that most of our operating methods have been codified into a law and extended to everyone. According to the terms of the law, we would notify you that our Clients’ personal data is kept in appropriate files to allow us to send them our price-lists and the publications that we issue from time to time.

Information document according to Art. 13, Legislative Decree 196/2003
Dear Sir/Madam,
We wish to inform you that Legislative Decree No. 196 of 30 June 2003 (“Code relating to the protection of personal data”) provides for the protection of persons and other bodies regarding the handling of personal data.
According to the above regulation, the characteristics of this data-handling will be principles of correctness, lawfulness and clarity and the safeguarding of your privacy and your rights.
Under the terms of Article 13 of Legislative Decree No.196/2003, therefore, we would like to give you the following information:
- The data that you supply will be handled for the purposes of a normal vendor-purchaser relationship, with the possibility of the vendor to use this data to contact the purchaser and inform him or her of any variations or new items for sale.
- The handling of the data will be carried out by manual, computerised and verbal means.
- It is essential to let us have your data in order to become one of our customers, since this is necessary for the despatch of the goods requested and any refusal to supply this data will prevent the issue of the accompanying documents.
- The data will not be communicated to others, and will not be broadcast but may be used by AUTODISCOUNT for possible contacts.
- The owner of the data-handling is PromoGroup S.p.A situated at via A.Ressi 17, MIlano
- The person responsible for data-handling is the legal representative pro tempore
- You may exercise your rights at any time in respect of the person responsible for data-handling, according to Article 7 of Legislative Decree 196/2003, which is reproduced below in its entirety, for your convenience.
Legislative Decree no. 196/2003, Art. 7 – Right of access to personal data and other rights
- The person concerned has the right to obtain confirmation of the existence or otherwise of personal data concerning him or her, even though it may not yet have been recorded, and to have it communicated in an intelligible form.
- The person concerned is entitled to obtain information about:
- a) the origin of the personal data;
- b) the purposes and the methods of the handling;
- c) the logic applied in the case of handling carried out with the aid of electronic instruments;
- d) the identification details of the owner, the people responsible and the appointed representative according to Article 4, paragraph 2;
- e) the people or categories of people to whom the data may be communicated or who may become aware of it as appointed State area representatives, managers or people given specific tasks.
- The person concerned is entitled to obtain:
- a) updates or corrections of the data or, if it should concern him or her, additions to the data;
- b) cancellation, transformation into an anonymous form or blocking of data handled in breach of the law, including the data which does not need to be kept for the purposes of the aims for which the data has been collected or subsequently handled;
- c) a declaration that the operations referred to under a) and b) have been brought to the notice, also as regards their content, of those to whom the data has been communicated or broadcast, except in the case where compliance with this is found to be impossible or involves the use of means that are manifestly out of proportion compared with the right being safeguarded.
- The person concerned is entitled to object, entirely or in part:
- a) for legitimate reasons, to the handling of personal data regarding him or her, even though it may be pertinent to the aim of the data collection;
- b) to the handling of personal data regarding him or her for the purposes of sending publicity or direct sales material or for carrying out market or commercial advertising research.
